My journey into interior design has been by two paths. Initially, when doing up my own homes, friends always admired the way I used colour and how the rooms evolved. My second path into interior design was through event work, in which I was working at this time. I focused on both atmosphere and ambience to help create unique social occasions. Flowers and foliage were also a large part of the mix for me, with their different colours and textures synthesising the effect.

I can gain as much pleasure from the light reflecting on an interesting piece of fabric, as from the juxtaposition of an unusual piece of ceramic against the branches of an olive tree.

Latterly I have found the creative power of the natural world to be restoring and inspirational.

I really enjoy creating a home for a client that reflects their personality: each project is as unique as the individual.
